Angelic

Doesn't she have the most angelic face? I last photographed beautiful Miss Reese when she was 5 days new, now look at her sitting pretty! She was such a joy to photograph and gave me such a variety of faces, happy, curious and those pensive stares that I just love. Her parents are just in love with her and it's wonderful to see the bond they share. Thanks so much for sharing your little girl with me, I can't wait to see her again for her 1 year session! Expecting and beautiful...

Little Layla

Radiant!

I had a blast photographing this mom to be. Not only is she gorgeous she was so easy to work with and a joy to be around. I went a little over time, usually my maternity sessions are shorter but I had such a great time I just kept shooting and shooting. I hope I didn't wear her out. Beautiful Boy!

Little Ashton sure has grown since the last time I saw him! This is actually my third time photographing him, before he was born, when he was a little newborn and now at 7 months. He was so much fun and gave me quite an array of adorable expressions. The shot of him smiling makes me smile! He is looking right at him mommy. Newborn Baby Boy ~ "A"

I love returning to photograph newborns after photographing them during maternity sessions. Isn't he just precious? He was so peaceful and content, especially in his mother's arms. Sweet baby "A" is just 9 days old and was so good to me during her first photo shoot. It is always great to get extended family together for pictures. I don't even have one of my own family and we are always saying we need to do it but never seem to fit it into our schedules. This day was really windy and the park was crowded but I managed to get some really beautiful shots of the family together. It was so nice to see the baby too, I did her newborn shoot a few months back.

What a happy little girl! It's so nice taking photos of babies outdoors for a change, I need to start doing it more. This little munchkin was so interested in the environment and her surroundings! She was picking up leaves and trying to eat them! I had fun photographing her and she has grown into such an adorable baby girl, I photographed her last at 5 weeks old. These images of her just make me smile. :)

I love photographing moms who are expecting! This is such an amazing time and even though it feels like the pregnancy lasts forever, it is over before you know it. Family Beach Session

What a great time I had photographing this gorgeous family! It was so nice because I haven't seen my friend since I moved away from RI. One year old beauty

Isn't little Miss E just beautiful!! I could just stare at those gorgeous eyes all day! 1 year olds are challenging to photograph but also so much fun! You have to be quick and on your toes and basically let them call the shots. This family was great to work with and up for anything. It was a pretty chilly day out and the baby was such a trooper. She let me get a few last shots of her outside when she was all tuckered out and hungry and posed oh so pretty in her pink pettiskirt. Mom to be

I had such a fantastic time photographing this gorgeous mom and her family. She is a photographer so it was really nice to have some input on how the session would go. Her little girl is such a doll and she seems very excited about her new brother or sister that will be arriving soon. She said she thinks it's going to be a boy. There were some really sweet moments too. When I asked her to tell the baby a secret she quietly whispered "I love you". Thanks so much for being patient, I had a wonderful time and I can't wait to meet your little angel soon!

Sad

My grandfather/godfather passed away on Valentine's Day and it's been a pretty sad weekend. He was such an amazing man, a business owner, a POW, a father of 5 (plus 2 step-children) a grandfather to 16, a great-grandfather to 6, a wonderful singer, very, very artistic, a terrific gardener, a great story-teller, funny, patient, a fisherman and just a wonderful person all around. He will be missed by all of us and I know he will live on through all of us as he passed on his wonderful traits to his children and grandchildren. I will be traveling up north for his memorial service and it will be so very strange to be in his home without him there. As it will be great to see all of my family it's going to be so sad not being able to see him anymore. I wish I had a picture of him to post but they are in my PC which is no longer hooked up. So here are some images with some dramatic lighting.

Sneak Peek!

How sweet is this little newborn boy? Not only is he sweet, he is very smart too! Just look how alert he is! He knew I was there and decided he wanted to stay awake for most of his session. Once he was asleep I was able to capture some peaceful moments, but he didn't like to be disturbed. When I would try to move him and position him in a different way he would let out a little cry as if to say "leave me alone, I'm trying to sleep!" I had a really nice time photographing him and meeting his very loving family. Thank you for being so patient, I can't wait to watch your little one grow over the next year. A few of Evan...

Well, it is getting harder and harder to get pictures of my little guy! He is just busy, busy, busy!!! Seriously, I am wondering why I'm not a size 2 from chasing him around all day long?!?! It must be from the several glasses of wine I drink at the end of the day to unwind. This is one of the most difficult ages to photograph. I took these in about a minute and a half and he was done looking at the camera and interacting with me. One of my resolutions was to take more snapshots of my kiddos and not worry about getting the perfect shot. So here are some, not perfect but I'm excited to get just a few of him looking and not the back of his head as he runs away from me!!!

Ava's new haircut

We chopped Ava's hair! It is a little too short but I love how easy it is. Plus no more screaming when I brush it!! YAY! She actually wanted to take pictures! I was pleasantly surprised, there was no bribing what so ever. I had fun and just went with what she wanted to do. Of course I tried to push her a little to far and get some images outside, but she was done. Now Evan's haircut didn't turn out so well. He was an angel, he sat still but for some reason it looks like he was moving all over the place during his haircut. The stylist actually said he was the most well behaved baby he had ever seen. Well, let's just hope it grows out fast. I will post some pics when I can. Here are some of A for now!

Holiday Newborn Girl

Meet beautiful newborn "R". Not only is she absolutely gorgeous she is very smart too. She was very aware of my presence, even at 5 days old. She didn't want to sleep for us the first time around but in round two she slept and modeled perfectly for me. Meet 11 day old newborn "S". Isn't he just gorgeous? Just look at that face! This is getting a bit dangerous for me as my little guy just turned one. Being around all these precious newborns makes me want another. I was a bit nervous thinking we wouldn't be able get any bare baby shots because it was so chilly out, but once he fell asleep we were good to go. Engaged

My Uncle is engaged and I was thrilled when they asked me to do their engagement pictures! These were shot in North Carolina (which is beautiful) and we just missed all the gorgeous foliage. It was still very fallish though (which I miss living in Southern FL). I haven't done an engagement session since I did my brother's last year! They are always so much fun and I wish I could do more of them. My family is so happy for them both and "K" will be an awesome addition to our family. Baby's First Christmas

Family Session

What a fun family to photograph! This was a very laid back session and I had a great time photographing this family of 4 on their beautiful property. Everyone was so easy, I swear I photograph some of the most beautiful people and children! This family lost their home and all their belongings (including their pictures) in a fire. When mom called to schedule a family session to put some portraits back on their walls I was thrilled and I think we captured some really fabulous shots. Senior Session

What a great time I had photographing these 2! Just look at Miss. K and her boyfriend A (my cousin). She's a beauty and he is a good looking fellow, which of course makes my job so much easier! We were trying to get an urban feel to our images but had a hard time finding spots to create this in downtown Naples. Holiday Session

These siblings are just gorgeous! These children have some of the most beautiful eyes and eyelashes I have ever seen. I photographed them all a few months back when their baby sister was just a week old. I had a great time, especially with oldest! We had a little bonding time and went on a little adventure in his yard (take good care of Tigger for me "K"). Little Baby N has grown so much and has the most angelic face. Twins+Twins!!!!

These 2 sets of twins are 11 months apart! That's right! Mom had 2 sets of twins in 1 year! 4 beautiful boys to love. I'm pretty sure there will never be a dull moment in this household! This was my first newborn twin shoot! It was very exciting and such a great learning experience for me. I was a little nervous when we put both sets together for a group shot, but was really happy with the final result. Halloween!

Here are some of my babies all dressed up for Halloween, Ava the leopard and Evan the mouse (costume requested by his sister)! It was a great Halloween! Breezy, cool ~ it felt a little bit like up north, minus the winter jackets and hats over our costumes. The kids had a ball! Ava wanted to stay home and hand out candy to all the trick or treaters and Evan just watched all the action. Now, I need to stop eating CANDY!!!!

Newborn Baby "A"

I photographed this little angel before he arrived and just look at him now! I love being able to meet and photograph newborns after capturing their beautiful mothers during their pregnancies! Holiday Mini Sessions

The holiday mini sessions schedule is officially open! Bookings for October and the first week in November have begun. They book extremely quick so if you want photos and cards in time for the holidays, contact me *now*. All sessions requiring holiday delivery must be completed prior to November 9th. Orders will be due on November 17th.

I am booking full sessions as well as mini sessions. Full sessions have no time limit and usually last 1-2 hours. Mini sessions are shot mainly for holiday cards and gifts. They will take place on location (either at your home or another outdoor location) and will last 20-30 minutes.

Mini Sessions are $200 and include:

20-30 minutes of shooting time (up to 4 people)
10-12 images in your on-line gallery
25 fine art custom holiday cards
1 11x14 Wall Portait

Family ~ My friends!

I always have so much fun photographing people, especially when they are friends of mine. It's nice ~ we take breaks, talk and it's just really relaxing. Actually, I try to do the same with all of my sessions. I want sessions to be relaxed and not rushed. That is why there is not a time limit. Sometimes I have so much fun, I forget certain shots I want to get. I forgot to get a shot of all 3 siblings together! Well, these children are all beautiful and certainly are so photogenic. 6 month old Sweetness!

This little Sweetie was such a joy to photograph! Did I say how much I looooove to photograph 6 month olds?!? I would have to say newborns and 6 month olds are really so much fun. 12 month sessions are fun too, but just more of a challenge. Baby S was really such a sweetheart. Such a good natured and easy going baby girl. She was so expressive and so full of smiles, she also gave me some amazing stares ~ which are my favorite!

Well, Miss Ava actually let me take pictures of her the other day!! I picked up some Gerber Daisies to put in my kitchen. Ava loves flowers and asked me if she could hold one. Next, I sort of tricked her. I said let's put on a "cozy" dress and you can sit on mommy's table (where the light is nice) with your flower. Well, she was all for it ~ looking at the camera, talking to her flower and to me. Maybe she is outgrowing the photographer's kid syndrome?!?! Well, now I wish I bought pink flowers, because these would go awesome in her pink room.

GLOWING!

This hot mama is expecting her third girl in a few weeks. She is radiant and carries pregnancy so beautifully ~ no swelling or stretch marks and she could button her non-maternity jeans last week!!! WOW! I don't think I could button my jeans the second I conceived! Her two girls are both beauties, I'm so excited to see what baby A will look like! For now here she is all warm and snug.

My future niece!

I'm going to be an auntie for the first time in about a month! Here she is all curled up waiting to arrive. My sister in law looks fabulous and has just glowed during her pregnancy. Pregnancy is such a miracle and a beautiful thing, I think it's so important to document. My brother is so excited and I just know that both of them will make wonderful parents. A beautiful newborn girl

This little angel was the perfect model. She slept the entire session and didn't even need a feeding break. She made my job so easy! I could've have photographed her all day long. She is 3 weeks old and usually they tend to wake up at this age when you move them. She just curled up on my bean bag, got warm and cozy and just let me do my thing. Here are some shots that I just fell in love with! I truly love every image from this session, I can not pick a favorite! I can't wait to show mom and dad the rest!

Fun Family Session

This beach session took place in my hometown, in Middletown, RI. I had a great time photographing them, not just because they are friends of mine but also because they were up for anything. Little Miss. E is 15 months old, which can be a tough age to photograph. She just ran right into the ocean with her pretty pottery barn dress and had a ball. Mr. C was all smiles, even though he got sand in his eye (poor thing). I also love how they came dressed to the session, they matched, but not all wearing the same exact thing. Newborn N

This was such a wonderful family, with a beautiful newborn girl and two older boys. I had such a great time photographing this little angel. Once she fell asleep, it was smooth sailing. Her big brothers are also gorgeous, with big beautiful eyes, long, long lashes and the perfect hair. She is a very lucky girl, with 2 loving parents and two big bros to spoil her! Back from Vacation!

I have lots to catch up on. We had a great time in our hometown (Newport, RI). We are all tired and recuperating, and I have tons of editing to do and pictures to go through. I did a few sessions while I was there and I am in love with the surroundings there! Of course I didn't appreciate the beauty of it when I lived there. There are so many cool and interesting places to shoot at, I would need years to go to all the wonderful places. I will be posting some from my sessions there and some personal photos as well. BROTHERS

These brothers were troopers during this session!!! We were getting eaten alive by mosquitoes, probably my worst encounter with them ever. Even with bug spray these buggers were biting. I was so nervous to load these images into my computer! I think I was swatting more than focusing my camera and the boys were scratching more than smiling! I was pleasantly surprised when I looked through them all! Most of them were fabulous. Mom will be thrilled, she said that Mr. D hates getting his picture taken, well, just look at that face, looks like a pro to me!!!

6 chubby months!

Well, here is my baby boy all roly poly! This is my absolute favorite age to photograph! Where babies are sitting up, and can't crawl yet and just are so interested in you! I really can't believe how fast the time goes. I know I keep saying it, but it really just amazes me that my little guy is about to crawl, when just a little over 6 months ago he was all curled up in my womb. Soon he will be running all over the place and capturing images will be more of a challenge!! Here are a few shots that I love:

Beautiful Newborn Boy!

This should not be happening yet! My little guy is just 6 months old but this sweet little one stole my heart and made me think baby #3 is definitely a must. What a little angel he is and he has the most beautiful red lips I have every seen on a newborn! Here are few from the session, and look how proud his 3 big brothers are, sooooo adorable!

Senior Beach Session

Just look at Miss D, a natural beauty. This truly was a wonderful session. She looked fabulous in every single frame, no eyes closed, crooked smiles or hands in the way fixing hair. She was a natural in front of the camera, which makes my job so much easier! She heads to college this June and I just know she will be spectacular in whatever she decides to do. I had a great time getting to know her, and she has really blossomed into a wonderful young woman. Mom and Dad must be proud. Her are a few from her session and I can't wait to show the rest!

Wonderful Beach Session!
Well, the morning started off pretty chilly! About 62 degrees!!! I felt pretty bad telling this family to kick off their shoes. They were brave though and handled the cold weather great, not to mention the burrs that kept sticking them in the feet! OUCH! I really enjoyed this session and have a lot of favorite shots. Little R was very energetic and all about exploring his surroundings. I had a blast and look forward to showing them all the images from their shoot. Here are just a few.

My Little Munchkin!
I can't believe how fast time is going! The days just fly by! They say time flies when you are having fun. I truly am enjoying every minute watching my baby grow. I am so trying to cherish every moment of his infancy, just in case he is my last baby. Here are some of him at 11 weeks.

Engaged!
My brother is engaged! This was a special engagement session on the beach because I got to witness the love between my younger brother and his fiance. They are an adorable couple and I am so happy for them. CONGRATS!!!

EVAN JAMES

Here are a few shots of my new baby boy! He was born on November 7 at 8:01 pm. He weighed 7 pounds and was 20 inches long. I should have listened to my fellow photographer friends who said I would be too tired to photograph my own newborn! I just love newborns, it is my favorite stage. He is 1 month old today!

SIBLINGS ~

These two cuties are my friend's children! These were taken up north in Rhode Island and it was so nice to be able to take pictures outdoors and not worry about approaching thunderstorms and sweating! They were so easy to photograph, the camera just loved them. Little Miss E is almost 7 months old (my favorite age to photograph) and already poses for the camera and MR C was just a ham in front of the camera. I had a fabulous time capturing them! Enjoy!

Photogenic Angel!!
Look how gorgeous this newborn baby girl is!!! Baby O is just so precious, she did a wonderful job during her first photo shoot. She is very alert for a newborn and wouldn't sleep for me, except when she was all tuckered out at the end of the session. Just look at that hair, don't you just want to pick her up and nuzzle her?!?! Truly a beautiful newborn baby!

Sweet Shy Girl

Here is a picture that I took at a photography workshop I attended a few weeks ago. This little girl was so sweet and on the shy side. She talked with me for a few minutes about her favorite show (the wonder pets) and gave me a quick smile. The workshop was wonderfu. Expecting....
This couple is expecting their second baby boy in a few weeks. We had such a great time during the session, mom and dad to be were so relaxed and up for anything. She looks fabulous and has that certain glow that only expecting mother's have. I believe pregnancy is such a beautiiful and amazing time in someone's life, and I feel honored to be able to freeze these moments in time for people. I can't wait until the little bundle of joy arrives, and to capture these moments as well. Stay tuned...

Our Trip up North

We went back home to Rhode Island for a weekend to visit family and friends. We figured they were having a mild winter so why not fly up?!?! Well, the morning we woke up it was 4 degrees!!!!!! The cold weather didn't seem to bother Ava, the true Floridian! She didn't like wearing her hat or mittens though, but she sure enjoyed seeing her Nana and Pop! We had a great time, it was so nice to spend time with our family and friends. We probably will make a trip back this summer, hopefully it won't be during a heat wave, like last year. We miss everyone and will see you all soon!

Meet Fergie ~ English Bulldog Puppy.

This is 8 week old Fergie, my brother Greg's new baby. She is just the sweetest thing. She is sooooo tiny, just over 5 pounds. It is so funny to see a miniature version of this breed. Greg is very proud of her. He looks a bit sleep deprived, in this picture.
